1. What this covers

These terms would govern your use of the EverEmber website and game client. By creating an account, you accept them. Features that are still planned are described separately from account rules that apply today.

2. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself.
• One person may hold several accounts, but may not play them at the same time.
• Accounts are not property and may not be sold, rented or transferred to another person.

3. Fair play

Automation, third-party clients that change the game, exploiting bugs for gain, and real-money trading of in-game items are all prohibited. So is harassing other players. We act on reports, and serious cases end in a permanent ban.

4. Purchases

Membership and cosmetic purchases buy a licence to use the item in game, not ownership of it. Membership renews until you cancel; cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the time you already paid for intact. Refund requests go to support.

5. Content you create

Chat messages, character names, clan names and screenshots you post stay yours. By posting them in our spaces you give us permission to display them there. Keep them legal and keep them civil.

6. Changes and endings

The game changes. Regions get added, balance shifts, and rarely something is removed. We give notice for anything significant. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and you may close your own account at any time.

7. No warranty

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect loss arising from using it.
